I will visit a garden, pick particular leaves and flowers, and press the material. After a few weeks I can start creating a unique image which will have captured some special quality of the garden. Summer and autumn provide a wealth of material, but I can usually find something exciting at other times of the year. The process can also include greenhouse and conservatory plants.
