I live and work in my small studio at the top of Auchencairn village in the thriving art community of Galloway.

Auchencairn is a major stop on the Spring Fling Open Studios Arts trail, Scotland’s premier art and craft studios event. Local studios are open to the public during the Spring Fling weekend, which falls in late May every year.

There are stunning coastal walks that start from the village with dramatic cliffs and sweeping views across Solway to the Lakeland hills:
